Symbolism
The heart is canting and is a reference to my hometown's arms. The quill represents my interest in drawing and art, used in place of a paintbrush or similar implement to keep with the natural theme of the arms. In addition, it represents my interest in linguistics. The color scheme is arbitrary, simply a combination of my favorite colors.
The goat in the crest represents my determination/stubbornness, and the snail shell represents my easy-going nature. The combination of the two elements represents my determination to go at my own pace and refusal to be rushed. The flower is canting.
