The entire shield is a composed as a memento mori. The main charge, the moon, is to represent its bearer's temperament, thoughful and contemplativeness, over the purple field (sky) of refinement and elegance — necessary elements to brew Art. However, over the uncanny stillness of the moon's plenitude, intrusively shines in a chief of silver sky the adamantine star of Saturn, reminding that time is coming to devour the ever-still contemplating ones. In the crest, the arm of a black dragon holds a lantern while chained to it, obligated to light the bearer's path. It is the devil of troubles always coming to tempt with sloth, but their reach only creates the inspiration that lights Art's God-guided path of turning dread into Beauty — Through Art the Beauty, the motto.
