symbolism
The brazilian blue jay, also known as an azure jay is a crafty and resourceful bird which lives in the arminger's surrounding. The armillary sphere which sits atop the Jay's heart represents the armingers royalist beliefs, while the books which serve as a sturdy base for the bird's dexter leg are engraved with the monograms of three great monarchs which the arminger admires that were betrayed by fate, those being:
-Dom Pedro the II, Emperor of Brazil
-Napoléon III, Emperor of the French
-Karl I and IV, Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary
