Symbolism
The dolphin and the owl respectant represent the armiger's bipolarity: one side is very social and playful, while the other is cynical and serious; however, the two sides have in common more than how much they'd like to admit: they both are from the same region (the armiger's) and they both can "sing" (referring to the importance of music in the armiger's life). The chief works both as a memento mori, with the stars remembering the armiger of his unimportance compared to the vastness of the Universe, and as a representation of the armiger's love for astronomy; moreover, the shape of the mullets reminds of a compass star, representing the fact that the armiger is a scout.
In the crest, the axolotl represents the armiger (being a symbol of resilience and uniqueness) and the books represent culture; this embodies the armiger's belief that culture elevates mankind (further reinforced by the axolotl's tincture, signifying perfection).
The motto represents the (unachievable) desire of the armiger to separate the conscience from the body, considered in many occasions just a burden or an obstacle to the armiger's goals, by referencing the Latin expression "mens sana in corpore sano".
