Symbolism

Bird, fieldfare, comes from old Finnish meaning of the armigers surname. Tuomaanristi, held by the bird in crest, literally mean's "Tuomas's cross", and Tuomas is the armigers first name. Other design choices have been mostly chosen for visual preferences.
