Symbolism[edit | edit source]

The South Andean Deer, or Huemul, represents gentleness, serenity and peace while his position indicates readiness against the dangers. The Mountains represents "Cerro Castillo", a place that provides shelter to huemul families. The Guemil comes from native Mapuche iconography, it represents wisdom.
