Symbolism

The lion is a symbol of the armiger's Christian faith. The nowed tail is a symbol of their service in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, where they tied many knots while serving on a boat crew, as well as a reminder that sometimes things happen, and they must fight to overcome struggles.
The stag head crest represents the armiger's love and respect for nature, with oak branches bearing acorns signifying their hope for their children and future generations to be strong and prosperous.
The motto, "An Act of True Faith." came to them in a dream when they were awakened from a deep sleep by the thunderous voice of God saying those words. To armiger this means being obedient to the Lord, and actively following him in their faith.
