Blazon
Escutcheon
Azure, three cartouches voided and interlaced in asterisk Argent.
Crest
A demi-lion Argent armed and langued Gules maintaining in its sinister paw a pair of shears Proper.
Motto
"Through Number And Measure"

Symbolism

The interlaced cartouches represent my interest in math and science, as it resembles a set of hyperbolic links (topology) and old depictions of electron orbitals. This interest is further reflected in my motto, a quotation of Rene Descartes. The shears are canting of my last name. The nowed annulet of rope being "cut" by said shears is a reference to the legend of the Gordian Knot, and a vague nod to the interlaced symbol on the escutcheon.

Badge

Blazon: A rope annulo nowed in chief Azure interlaced with shears in chevron Proper.
