The ravens and snake represent the astronomical constellations of Corvus and Serpens respectively, illustrating Mr. Cliff’s interest in astronomy and his contribution to the creation of Alberta’s Beaver Hills Dark Sky Preserve. The green colour represents Mr. Cliff’s fond memories of the forests in the area of the Thousand Islands in Ontario.
